Noting the lack of organizations focusing on administrative law with respect to trans rights, Emily has carved out a niche and uses bureaucratic processes to push for greater justice.  Her work includes the production of important documents from Federal and state agencies, formal filings to shape administrative rulemaking proceedings, and meetings with White House staff to express concerns from a transfeminine perspective.

Emily is an attorney with years of experience navigating the Federal regulatory landscape, a former computer science techie, a gamer dating back to the Atari 2600, and only writes about herself in the third person when it can’t be avoided.
